The Himalayan was Royal Enfield's first purpose-built adventure tourer, revealed in 2015 and launched in early 2016 around the new LS410 411 cc single. It paired a 21-inch front wheel and long-travel suspension with a modest 24.5 hp, aimed at rough roads and affordability rather than speed. This first version was carburetted.
